Hoodia Weight Loss

I recently had a post regarding a company that has introduced a new product into the market – Hoodia gum.  Honestly, I don’t think that a stick of gum can actually have the amount of Hoodia required to have any effect on your appetite.

As if this is not enough – later another company announced their own version of the gum.  The press release explained that the company was the pioneer in introducing a gum to the market in 2006, even indicating the concern of the company’s CEO that consumers might purchase the wrong gum.  This was to imply that their company is the only one that makes authentic Hoodia gum.

Which of these gums contain authentic Hoodia then?  Personally, I think none of them because from what I know, when making gum, heat is required and heat can destroy Hoodia Gordonii.

From Hoodia lollipops to gum – the diversity of products that contain Hoodia just keeps on growing. A new company is now introducing what they call ‘functional gum’ a new take on the familiar Hoodia gum product.

Hoodia gum is a new addition to this new company’s line of ‘functional gum’ varieties. Other products in this line include breast enhancement gum, anti-aging gum, and virility gum. While these gums sound like they are straight out of a comedy routine, I honestly did not know that breasts can now be enlarged by gum, or virility enhanced, for that matter. I wonder if these products actually sell or if there are people who fall for this weird marketing strategy.

These testimonies, however important to the research concerning Hoodia, can be more fortified by testimonies from clinical experts who have done studies regarding Hoodia supplement.

In my research regarding Hoodia, I came across and article from Turks.us Daily News regarding a doctor from the Bucks County Clinical Research Center who has done a certain degree of testing of Hoodia diet pills.

Ultralife Fitness, a company in Utah, had to pay $150,000 in settlements to the Federal Trade Commission for charges regarding their free Hoodia trial offer. It was a good thing that the company was able to pay the sum for the settlement, otherwise, the consumer damages might set them back for more than $9 million.
